Clara Palmiste has a PhD in History from the European University Institute in Florence. She is an Associated Professor in modern and contemporary history and a member of the AIHP-GEODE research center at the University of the Antilles. Her research focuses on gender, women's history, feminism and networks in the social fabric of the French speaking West Indies (first half of the 20th century).
